Service 1

Tree Removal

When a tree has to come down, the difference between a good crew and a bad one is everything around it — your roof, your fence, your neighbor's yard. We plan every removal before the first cut.

  1. Assessment & written quote

We look at the tree's lean, weight distribution, nearby structures, and access. You get a written quote with the full scope — removal, debris, and stump options.

  2. Controlled takedown

Open areas get felled in one piece. Tight spots get sectioned down piece by piece with rigging, so nothing lands where it shouldn't.

  3. Full cleanup

Limbs chipped, trunk cut and hauled, yard raked, driveway blown off. You choose: stump ground now or left for later.

Power lines nearby? If limbs are touching or near service lines, don't touch them yourself — call us and call your utility. We'll coordinate the safe approach.

Trimming & Pruning

Proper pruning keeps trees healthy, shaped, and safe — and it can add years to a tree's life. We prune to arborist standards: clean cuts, right timing, right branches.

What proper pruning includes

  • Deadwood removal — dead limbs are the first thing to fail in a storm. We take them out before the weather does.
  • Canopy thinning — selective removal of interior branches for light and airflow, which reduces wind sail and disease pressure.
  • Clearance pruning — limbs off the roof, siding, driveway, and sightlines, with proper clearance maintained.
  • Structural pruning — correcting competing leaders and weak branch unions in young trees so they grow strong.
We never top trees. Topping — cutting a tree's crown back to stubs — starves the tree, invites decay, and produces weak, fast-growing shoots that fail. Any company offering to "top" your tree is telling you they don't know pruning. If a tree is too big for its spot, the honest options are crown reduction by a skilled pruner or removal — not topping.

Oak wilt timing (important in North Texas)

Oak wilt spreads through open wounds and root grafts, and it kills red oaks in weeks. To protect your oaks, we avoid pruning them from February through June when the beetles that spread the disease are most active — and we seal every cut. If an oak must be pruned in the high-risk window, we take extra precautions and tell you exactly why.

Stump Grinding

The tree is gone but the stump is still there — in the way of the mower, the sod, or your plans. We grind stumps 6–12 inches below grade so the spot disappears.

  • Grind depth: 6–12 inches below the surface — deep enough to sod, plant, or pave over.
  • Chips: hauled away, or left as mulch for your beds. Your choice, same price.
  • Utilities: we check for marked lines before grinding, and we ask you to have utilities located if there's any doubt.
  • Add-on pricing: grinding is cheapest when bundled with the removal — ask about it in your quote.

Note: grinding removes the stump but not the full root system. Surface roots near the stump can be chased and ground on request — full root excavation is a separate, bigger job, and we'll tell you honestly if you need it.

Emergency Storm Response

North Texas spring storms don't check the calendar. When a tree comes down on your house, car, or driveway, you need a crew that answers — day, night, weekends.

What to do right now

  1. Stay clear

Don't go near a tree touching power lines — assume every line is live. Keep people and pets away from the area.

  2. Call us: {{PHONE_NUMBER}}

Tell us what happened and where. We'll give you a realistic arrival window.

  3. We stabilize first

The first job is making it safe: tree off the structure, driveway cleared, hazards secured. Full cleanup and repairs come next.

Document for insurance. Take photos of the damage before anything is moved, if it's safe to do so. Most homeowner policies cover tree removal when the tree damages a structure — we can provide the documentation your adjuster needs.

Not Sure What You Need?

Call us and describe the tree — or send photos through the contact form. We'll tell you honestly whether it needs removal, pruning, or nothing at all. Free estimates, no pressure.
